Representatives from St Peter's CE Academy and Windmill Primary School joined Raunds Town Mayor, Cllr Nick Beck and the Royal British Legion in a short ceremony outside the Town Hall to raise a flag for Armed Forces Day.

Raunds Town Council are hosting a Summer Picnic on Sunday 9th July at Bassfords Recreation Ground. Each year during a set period any interested person has the right upon reasonable notice to inspect any documents relating to the finances of the Parish Council for the previous financial year. The period set for this year is 16 June 2017 to 27 July 2017.

The family of former Town Councillor Albert Campbell have announced that he passed away in the early hours of 12 June 2017.
Albert Campbell was Chairman of Raunds Town Council in 1989/90 and again in 2003/04. As well as serving on Raunds Town Council and East Northamptonshire Council, Albert Campbell worked tirelessly in Raunds Fire Service and as a volunteer in many Raunds organisations and community events. Raunds Town Council will be observing a minutes silence at 11am Tuesday 6th June 2017. In a statement, Downing Street said: "The UK will observe a minute's silence on Tuesday 6 June 2017 at 11am in remembrance of of those who lost their lives and all others affected by the attacks in London on Saturday night".
