Local History

There are a number of listed sites, monuments and buildings in Raunds, details of which can be found on the Historic England Website.

Information on local history can be obtained from Raunds and District History Society. The History Society meet at Saxon Hall on the 1st Thursday of every month from 7.30pm-9pm cost £3 non-members.

You can also find information at Raunds Library, which holds an extensive archive of parish records, local history information, including military records of Raunds men from 1777 to 1945 and there is also a large photographic collection. There are also 3 local history and genealogy volunteers who are on hand to help with research.
