Memorial Post Box Installed at Cemetery
A poignant memorial post box has been installed at London Road Cemetery, Raunds, offering mourners the chance to post a private letter to deceased loved ones.
The idea follows the popularity of 'Heavenly Post Boxes' at several crematoriums across the country, which were set up after grieving Nottingham schoolgirl Matilda Handy wanted a 'post box to heaven' after her grandparents passed away.

Expressions of Interest invited for use of the disused Chapel building at London Road Cemetery, Raunds
Raunds Cemetery is located on London Road, close to Warth Park and the A45. The cemetery has been used for burials since 1917 and is a well-used public open space.

Raunds Annual Summer Picnic
This year's summer picnic was a great success, the rain held off and we enjoyed a busy afternoon at Bassford Recreation Ground.
We were entertained with live music from Big Phat Jukebox, Jenna, and DJ Nathan James.
Everyone was kept entertained with inflatables, face painting and a bubble show.

Showing our support for Armed Forces Day
The people of Raunds and Raunds Town Council have always supported the Armed Forces.

Community Speedwatch - Spring 2023 Results
Between 17 - 28 April 2023, trained Speedwatch volunteers from the Raunds community carried out vehicle speed monitoring checks using approved equipment on Chelveston Road, Grove Street, London Road and Station Road.
