Commonwealth Day 2023 Service at the Town Hall

Raunds Town Council today marked Commonwealth Day 2023 with a flag-raising service on the steps of the Town Hall.

The ceremony was led by The Mayor of Raunds, Cllr Richard Levell, with participation from Rev'd Kim Shorley and children from St Peter's CE Primary School and the Royal British Legion in attendance. Following the reading of the Affirmation, the Commonwealth flag of peace was raised.

Road Closure from 13th March

Road Closure from 13th March

Kier are intending on carrying out parapet repairs on two structures on Brooks Road. To undertake this work safely the road will be closed for up to four days. Work is expected to commence on the 13th March 2023.

The hall was packed with happy children, parents, mayors and the public, all who had braved the bitterly cold weather to come and sing. Raunds Town Council were proud to support "Santa on a Tractor" on Sunday 11th December 2022, raising donations and money for Raunds Foodbank and bringing festive cheer to the residents of Raunds.
