Raunds Summer Picnic

Despite the England football game playing a part in lower numbers than previous years, this years Summer Picnic was a great success. With the temperature in the high 20's, picnicers were entertained by music from the Maxibrites whilst children enjoyed the free bouncy castles, face painting and Mrs Bubbles!

Supporting our Armed Forces

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Armed Forces Day flag raising ceremony outside the Town Hall this morning.

McDonalds Love Where You Live

On Sunday 10th June staff from McDonalds were joined by Deputy Mayor, Cllr Lee Wilkes, Councillors, Raunds Brownies & Cubs and Thrapston Youth FC for their annual campaign to help in the community as part of their Love Where You Live project. Over 40 volunteers weeded, swept, painted, cleared and generally tidied the London Road Cemetery. Thank you to everyone for their help.

Full House for The Greatest Showman

It was a full house yesterday for the 10th Raunds Film Afternoon. Over 120 local residents came along to the Saxon Hall to watch the film that has taken the country by storm 'The Greatest Showman'. Keep an eye out in the local press & noticeboards for details of future films.

St Peter's C.E. Academy Sports Day Fun

Cllr Lee Wilkes, Deputy Mayor of Raunds, was delighted to attend the St Peter's C.E. Academy Sports Day.

A busy Saturday for Raunds Mayor Cllr Richard Levell!

Saturday was a busy day for Cllr Richard Levell and his consort. In the morning they had their car washed by the staff and pupils at Windmill Primary School, together with members of the Police and Fire Brigade.
