Mayor's Civic Service 2023
The Mayor of Raunds, Councillor Richard Levell, held his Civic Service on Sunday 26 March at St Peter's Church. The celebration of the 2022/23 Mayoral year provided a timely opportunity to recognise and thank local individuals and organisations for all their dedicated work in the community.

Commonwealth Day 2023 Service at the Town Hall
Raunds Town Council today marked Commonwealth Day 2023 with a flag-raising service on the steps of the Town Hall.
The ceremony was led by The Mayor of Raunds, Cllr Richard Levell, with participation from Rev'd Kim Shorley and children from St Peter's CE Primary School and the Royal British Legion in attendance. Following the reading of the Affirmation, the Commonwealth flag of peace was raised.

Road Closure from 13th March
Kier are intending on carrying out parapet repairs on two structures on Brooks Road. To undertake this work safely the road will be closed for up to four days. Work is expected to commence on the 13th March 2023.

Have your say on warding arrangements for North Northamptonshire
After The Local Government Boundary Commission for England have considered all representations made to them during this consultation, they intend to publish draft recommendations in May 2023

Winner of the Christmas Window Competition 2022
The High Street Christmas windows have now all been judged, and the winner selected.

Raunds Town Mayor’s Family Carol Service - 14th December 2022
The family carol service was a huge success last Wednesday, with wonderful performances by all the schools in Raunds. The hall was packed with happy children, parents, mayors and the public, all who had braved the bitterly cold weather to come and sing. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
