The proposed local government reform submission papers are now live on www.east-northamptonshire.gov.uk
Following a county-wide consultation exercise, a proposed submission has been drafted by all eight authorities in Northamptonshire. This will be discussed by councillors at meetings across the county week commencing 27 August.

Anglian Water have informed us that the permit for the closure of London Road has been extended as they are now having to appoint specialist contractors to excavate the bridge. They are still co-operating with Highways regarding the issue and will endeavour to complete the work before the 7th September.

The official opening of the "Ada Salter Spinney" Spinney Hill, Raunds takes place on Saturday 11th August at 12pm. Local residents are invited to see how the addition of a garden, further seating and the relaying of the path have transformed this open space in the heart of the town.

*UPDATE* The Travellers were peacefully evicted from Bassfords Recreation Ground and all the rubbish, including a gas canister have now been cleared from the site and the site has been secured.
Raunds Town Council are aware of the situation at Bassfords Recreation Ground and are liaising with the appropriate authorities and taking action as swiftly as possible.
