Play Areas Open

Play Areas Open

We are pleased to inform you that, with the exception of our Saddlers Play Area off Weighbridge Way, our Play Areas and Adult Gym Equipment are now open.

The health and safety of our residents and visitors is our priority and we needed time to consider the practical implications of the recently issued government guidance before reopening. When using our play areas you will notice that there is only one swing per bay and some seating is designated out of use. Please respect this and note that this is to support social distancing.

When using the play areas we ask you to observe the guidelines on our blue signs that are posted at entrances. These signs show the maximum number of people allowed in the play area at any one time (this is different for every play area so please do check the sign).

You and your family need to be aware that you are using the play equipment at your own risk and judge the risk of COVID-19 to you and your family before entering. If you or anyone in your family are showing symptoms of COVID-19 do not enter the play area and seek medical advice.

Only 1 child should use each piece of equipment at a time, unless from the same family or social bubble.

Sadly our Saddlers play area remains CLOSED. Today we discovered that large pieces of polystyrene and rubbish have been broken across the park and we need our main contractor to clear this. (The area had been checked and cleared on 2 previous occasions during the week) We will be putting CCTV in the area to deter further anti-social behaviour.

In the unfortunate event you witness any anti-social behaviour in or around our play areas you may wish to let us know, but more importantly, it should to be reported to the Police at the time it is happening. Reports can be made online at www.northants.police.uk or by phoning 101.

Stay Alert, Control the Virus, Save Lives.
