Council disappointment at planning appeal decision.

The Planning Inspectorate have this week announced their decision to allow the appeal and grant planning permission for the erection of four employment units and ancillaries on land to the north of Brick Kiln Road. Planning application reference 20/00960/FUL.

Cllr Bill Cross, Chairman of Raunds Town Council's planning committee said "the council regrets that the planning inspectorate rejected our objections. The Town Council continually maintained their opposition to the development of the site in this way."

A spokesperson for the Town Council said "whilst we are disappointed with the decision, should the development proceed we would work with any employers on the site to promote job opportunities that may arise. We will continue to be mindful of any disruption that this development may bring, and if necessary will lobby all relevant parties.
