The A45 Chowns Mill Improvement Scheme.

Dear Customer,

National Highways wishes to advise drivers of their road closure programme for the A45 Chowns Mill Improvement scheme.

The closures are necessary to safely carry out remedial works to the roundabout, the works will be focussed on the A6 North (Irthlingborough) and the A5028 to address a few outstanding issues picked up during a recent road safety audit.

Access to Chowns Mill Business Park will be provided during the closures of the A6 Northern Arm.

The schedule is below:

Wed 6 April to Fri 8 April

A5028 Closed

A5028 Northbound & Southbound closed between Nightingale Way to Chowns Mill Rbt.

8pm to 5am nightly

Wed 6 April & Fri 8 April

A6 Northern Arm Closed

Northbound and Southbound Closed between Nene Park Rbt. & Chowns Mill Rbt.

8pm to 5am nightly

A45 Chowns Mill Improvement scheme.

NOTE:Signed diversion routes will be in place during any closures. Our planned closures may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Where possible, we will notify you if there are any changes to the schedule.
