Purple Lights for World Pancreatic Cancer Day - November 17th, 2022

Pancreatic cancer is currently the fifth biggest cancer killer in the UK

On Thursday 17th November 2022 Raunds Town Council will be lighting up the front of St Peter's Church and the Town Hall in purple to remember loved ones who have sadly died of pancreatic cancer, to acknowledge those living with or beyond the disease, and to raise awareness of a disease that deserves more attention.

Right now people are diagnosed too late: too late for treatment, too late to survive. By 2026, it will become the fourth-biggest cancer killer. Let's change this!
