Raunds Annual Town Assembly 2024

Raunds Annual Town Assembly took place on Thursday 25 April at Saxon Hall and was attended by residents, community groups and organisations. The event provided an excellent opportunity for networking, sharing of information and learning about community achievements in Raunds during the last twelve months.

A collaborative performance from Park Infants, Windmill School, St Peters School and Manor School was enjoyed by many, following which the Mayor of Raunds, Councillor Paul Byrne, gave his Annual Report outlining the Council's key activities during the last year.

Local groups and organisations who received grants from the Town Council were invited to deliver presentations about how their grants were used and their future aspirations.

These included 1st Raunds Methodist Guides, East Northamptonshire 1st Responders, St Peter's Community Enterprise Centre, Raunds Yarn Bombers and Nene Valley Vineyard Youth Group.

Free refreshments were served which included hot dogs, cakes and the Raunds WI served tea and coffee.
