Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service 2024

On Remembrance Sunday, 10th November the Raunds community came together for a heartfelt Remembrance Sunday service, honouring the sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and women. The service, starting with a parade from the Town Hall and leading to the memorial gardens at St. Peter's Church, remembered the courage and resilience of all who served, and renewed our commitment to keeping their legacy alive.

At the memorial, Standards were present, and wreaths were laid, and a service was held to remember those who fought and died for our freedom.

On Monday the 11th November on Armistice Day, a short service at the Town Hall marked the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, honouring the end of the Great War and all who have served since.
