Tender for Grounds Maintenance Contract 2025-2030

Raunds Town Council is inviting qualified contractors to tender for a comprehensive grounds maintenance and associated services contract. The five-year contract will commence on 1st April 2025, and end on 31st March 2030.

Scope of Work:

The successful contractor will be responsible for maintaining the town's open spaces, including:

• Recreation grounds
• Play areas and cemeteries
• Regular litter picking and bin emptying

Submission Requirements:

Tender submissions must include:

1. A covering letter introducing the company.
2. Completed pricing schedule.
3. References, preferably from other local authorities.
4. Public and employer liability insurance certificates.
5. Health and safety policies, including risk assessments and method statements.

• Opening Date: December 24, 2024
• Submission Deadline: January 31, 2025, by 5:00 PM
• Contract Award Notification: February 12, 2025
• Contract Start Date: April 1, 2025

Additional Information:

• The successful contractor must comply with all legal health and safety requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
• There will be no changes to the agreed rates during the contract term.
