VE Day 80 Celebrations

Join us in the heart of Raunds for an evening of celebration, community, and remembrance as we mark 80 years since Victory in Europe Day.

The day begins with an official flag-raising ceremony at the Town Hall at 9:00 am. Later, at 6:15 pm, we invite you to the unveiling of commemorative benches in St Peter's Church Memorial Gardens, immediately followed by a special Ring Out in Celebration from the St Peter's Church Bell Ringers at 6:20 pm.

Then from 7pm, the Town Square will come alive as a vibrant street party unfolds, featuring a wonderful lineup of entertainment:

• Performances from local schools
• Vintage harmony from The Candy Girls
• Local Choirs perform
• At 9.30pm, the lighting of the 'Light of Peace' beacon – a powerful symbol of reflection and hope
