Community Speedwatch - Spring 2023 Results
Between 17 - 28 April 2023, trained Speedwatch volunteers from the Raunds community carried out vehicle speed monitoring checks using approved equipment on Chelveston Road, Grove Street, London Road and Station Road.

Outgoing Mayor’s Charity Presentations 2023

Mayor of Raunds presents Coronation coins to local schoolchildren
A special commemorative coin is being gifted by Raunds Town Council to all nursery, primary and secondary pupils in Raunds to mark the Coronation of King Charles III.

New Vehicle Activated Speed (VAS) Sign Installed in Raunds

Commonwealth Day 2023 Service at the Town Hall
Raunds Town Council today marked Commonwealth Day 2023 with a flag-raising service on the steps of the Town Hall.
The ceremony was led by The Mayor of Raunds, Cllr Richard Levell, with participation from Rev'd Kim Shorley and children from St Peter's CE Primary School and the Royal British Legion in attendance. Following the reading of the Affirmation, the Commonwealth flag of peace was raised.

What you and your community can do-The law on clearing snow and ice
Northants Highways do not have the resources to grit all the roads and therefore grit bins are provided by Northants Highways and Raunds Town Council.
Town Council provides grit bins at:
Chamberlain Way
Ashfield Avenue
Cetenary Way

Captain Sir Tom Moore 30 April 1920-2 February 2021
Raunds Town Council pays tribute to the life of Captain Sir Tom Moore, after raising over £30 million for NHS charities he became a national inspiration.
Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
