Mayor's Civic Service 2024
The Mayor of Raunds, Councillor Paul Byrne, held his Civic Service on Sunday 21 April at St Peter's Church. The celebration of the 2023/24 Mayoral year provided an opportunity to recognise and thank local individuals and organisations for all their dedicated work in the community.

First Raunds Saturday Market of 2024
Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported the first market of the year.
Saturday 20th April saw the return of the first Raunds Saturday Market of the year. Local residents visited the town square to explore what the local traders had on offer.
The Garage Sale was running alongside the Market which 37 locations took part in and residents visited the different locations with the map.

Raunds Town Council Annual Town Assembly
The Raunds Town Council Annual Town Assembly is being held at Saxon Hall on Thursday 25th April at 6pm.
There will be Q&As with local councillors, community group exhibitions, performances by local schools and the opportunity to see what has been happening over the past year, as well as hear about future initiatives.
Hot food and refreshments will be available - All welcome!

Spring Litter Pick
On Saturday 30th March 2024 a group of volunteers gave up their time and joined us for the Raunds Town Spring Litter Pick.
We were joined by Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Squirrels, Brownies, Rainbows, local residents and Council Staff.

2nd Raunds Beavers Evening
Recently the Beavers visited Raunds Town Hall, they were greeted by Cllr Paul Byrne, Mayor of Raunds for an evening of activities and learning about the Town Council.
The children were split into two groups, each group visited the council chamber where the Mayor explained the tiers of local government and what Raunds Town Council is responsible for.
